Researches are largely carried out along these dimensions: historical progressions of modern and contemporary China and the basic patterns or laws thereof; basic issues concerning China’s reform and development; theories and practices on the CCP’s governance.

Efforts along these dimensions have brought to fruition such distinctive works on the financial history of modern and contemporary China; history of the Chinese Resistance War against Japanese Invasion; the CCP’s leadership during the period of Democratic Revolution; the personages in the CCP’s history; construction of the CCP’s governing ability and its conduct; and China’s path to modernization.
